The Optical Coherence Tomography Scanner (abbreviated as OCT Scanner) is an advanced ophthalmic diagnostic device. Based on the low – coherence light interference technology, it is capable of performing high – resolution tomographic imaging of the intraocular tissues. By emitting near – infrared light into the eye, according to the reflection and scattering characteristics of different tissues to light, it can obtain detailed structural information of the retina, macula, optic nerve and other parts.

This device has many advantages. It has a fast imaging speed and can complete the scanning of the eye in a short time, reducing the discomfort of patients.
